Privacy Policy

Hauliner ("we", "us") is an invoicing and documentation tool for motor carriers and dispatchers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what we never do with it.

What we collect

Early-access form. When you sign up on our landing page, we collect your email address and fleet size. Submissions are processed by Netlify Forms and used only to contact you about Hauliner early access and product updates.
App account (optional). If you create an account in the app, we store your email and the data you create — invoices, broker contacts, and company settings — so it can sync between your devices. The app works without an account; in that case your data stays on your device.
Invoice and telematics data. Times, locations, and load details you add to an invoice are used solely to generate your documents. ELD/telematics API tokens you enter (e.g. Samsara) are proxied per request and are never logged or stored on our servers.

What we never do

We never sell or rent your personal information.
We never share your invoice data with brokers, shippers, or anyone else — you decide what to send and to whom.
We never store your API keys or email credentials on our servers.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run the service: Netlify (hosting and form processing), Supabase (account sync and authentication), and, if you connect them, Samsara/Motive (telematics) and Google (Gmail sending). Each processes your data only to provide its function.

Data retention and deletion

Early-access emails are kept until launch communications end or you ask us to remove you. Account data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and its data, or to be removed from the mailing list, email us and we'll take care of it.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time. Depending on where you live (e.g. California), you may have additional statutory rights; we honor those requests regardless of location.
